Save the Date: Amanda Wunder Speaking about Baroque Seville and Francisco de Zurbarán on April 17

On April 17 at 6:30 PM, Amanda Wunder, Associate Professor of 16th- and 17th-Century Spanish Art; Early Modern European Textiles and Fashion at The Graduate Center, CUNY and Lehman College, will be in conversation with Frick Collection Senior Curator Susan Galassi about Baroque Seville and Zurbarán at New York University’s King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center

Professor Wunder’s recent book, Baroque Seville: Sacred Art in a Century of Crisis (Penn State Press, 2017), was awarded a publication subvention by the College Art Association’s Millard Meiss Publication Fund.

The conversation will be held in conjunction with Galassi’s exhibition “Zurbarán’s Jacob And His Twelve Sons: Paintings From Auckland Castle.”
